Ep. 129 – JLU – Ultimatum

The Good Brothers are back again with another Justice League Unlimited review, this week covering another pivotal episode in the Cadmus-arc. “Ultimatum” features a lot of tributes and homages to older DC Comics animation and Cal & Liam discuss those along with the tragic loose ends from this episode, Aquaman’s characterization being a reference for Jason Mamoa’s portrayal, and Andrea Romano being ahead of the curve when it came to racial sensitivity and awareness in voice casting. Additionally, the hosts discuss the introduction of Amanda Waller, her perfect voice-casting, Maxwell Lord’s one and only DCAU appearance and speculation on just what happens to Long Shadow. Plus, a preview of next week’s much-demanded Elseworlds episode and much more on this week’s all-new DCAU Review!
