Ep. 100 – JL -Starcrossed Parts I, II & III

It’s the landmark 100th episode of the DCAU Review, and The Good Brothers are reviewing one of the most pivotal episodes in the history of the DCAU. Cal & Liam discuss the events leading up to Starcrossed and break down one of the most heart-wrenching romances to playout in the DCAU, while also talking about the shortcomings of the CGI mixed into the digital animation, the decision to make the main baddie a Hawkman-ish character, the awesomeness of the Batcave battle scene, and easter eggs from Batman ’66. This week the Good Brothers get in the holiday spirit with their review of the Justice League episode “Comfort and Joy”, a rare 22-minute edition of the original Justice League series. Ep. 84 – JL – Maid of Honor Part I & II

Ep. 32 – JL – The Enemy Below Part I & II

This week on the DCAU Review, the good brothers celebrate the upcoming release of the Worlds of DC film “Aquaman” with a review of the Justice League episode “The Enemy Below.” This episode revolves around a struggle between the King of Atlantis and his brother for the right to be the leader of the underwater kingdom. Liam and Cal discuss the layered plot complete with discussions on Hamlet, the Lion King, and the unfortunate choice to give Aquaman a mullet. Plus plenty of #CapeMovement,  a discussion on Aquaman the warrior vs. Aquaman the Super Friend, the excellent use of the DC villain catalog and what the guys believe may be the very best scene in Justice League history.
