Ep. 89 – BB – Once Burned

This week on the DCAU Review, Cal & Liam are discussing the Batman Beyond Batman/Ten romance follow-up episode entitled “Once Burned.” Our hosts find it increasingly more difficult to explain just why Terry is attracted to Melanie and whether or not Terry having bad relational skills might be genetic. Of course the inclusion of Melanie/Ten allows the Good Brothers talk about how #DanaDeservesBetter and how Max being complicit in the whole situation makes her a tough person to like. Ep. 87 – BB -Hidden Agenda

A brand new decade means a new series to kickoff the new year at the DCAU Review. Cal & Liam return to the future Gotham and pick right back up where they left off with the Batman Beyond episode entitled “Hidden Agenda.” This one has the Good Brothers feeling like it’s a bit of a soft-reboot for the future Batman, as the character of Max is introduced and Bruce Wayne is noticeably absent. Ep. 68 – BB – Earth Mover & Joyride

It’s a giant-sized special edition on this week’s DCAU Review as the Good Brothers cover two episodes of Batman Beyond. First up is the sci-fi thriller entitled “Earth Mover” which finds the brothers struggling to understand just how the main villain survived all these years, what exactly his plan was and why the debut of the Bat-Sub was so disappointing. In act two of our show, the guys discuss “Joyride”, a Jokerz-centric tale about a what happens when a government weapon falls into the hands of a common street gang. The guys discuss just how many Jokerz members there are, why Batman ends up looking like more of a clown than them, and there’s even a return of the disagreement alarm! Plus the guys give full scorecards for each episode and preview next week’s episode!
